Currently in connection with expansion of geography of Zarubezhneft’s activities, increase in volumes of oil produced and oil-products production various types of frauds boosted their activity who send systematically to the address of the Russian and foreign legal entities commercial offers and contracts with forged seals and signatures allegedly drawn up in Zarubezhneft.

Also some foreign firms’ attempts were noted which register the domains in Internet to use the domain names “nestro” and “Zarubezhneft” owned on legal basis by Zarubezhneft.

Besides, in the Russian market to present day Limited Liability Company “Zarubezhneft” (“Zarubezhneft” LLC, Chelyabinsk city) exists which uses unlawfully the trade name of the state-owned Joint Stock Company “Zarubezhneft” in its commercial interests. Moreover, it lawlessly represents itself before its potential partners as the subsidiary of Zarubezhneft in Chelyabinsk which is not true and only attests improper purposes of this company’s activity.

It was established by checking that all these unkindly elements act as the representatives of various dubious intermediate companies non-operating in oil and gas sphere. They pursue mercenary purposes and damage to goodwill of Zarubezhneft both in Russia and abroad.

In this connection we call upon all our contracting parties and business partners to carefully treat the verification of the commercial offers, contracts, other applications and requests received allegedly from Zarubezhneft and exercise vigilance in relation to persons using lawlessly the name of Zarubezhneft in arranging illegal deals.
