Krylov All-Russian Oil and Gas Scientific Research Institute was established in 1943 as the head science and research organization in the USSR and later in Russia. The Institute is engaged in the fundamental and applied scientific research and experimental-industrial works on the development and introduction of progressive oil recovery enhancement and intensification technologies. All oil producing regions of Russia are using technologies, developed by VNIIneft, on an industrial scale.
