Public joint stock company Science and technology Company "Russian Interbranch Scientific and Technical Complex "Nefteotdacha" Science and technology Company "Russian Interbranch Scientific and Technical Complex "Nefteotdacha" (before February 1992 "Interbranch Scientific and Technical Complex "Nefteotdacha" - MNTK "Nefteotdacha") was established in 1985 in accordance with the Decree of the Communist Party Central Committee and the Council of Ministers of the USSR No. 1230 dtd. Dec. 12, 1985. The main purpose of the Complex establishment is developing, testing and introducing new technologies and technological means for oil field development and oil recovery enhancement in the reservoirs, providing the potential increase of the resource base of the country. Fields of Activity: - development and experimental-industrial introduction of principally new technologies and technological means for oil field development and reservoir oil recovery enhancement; - production of machinery and chemicals for these purposes, including by means of export sales of the oil, produced by the Complex and its subsidiaries, using the developed oil recovery enhancement methods. The establishment of MNTK "Nefteotdacha" allowed considerable increase in the effectiveness of introducing oil recovery enhancement methods in the country. Currently, practically all oil producing areas of Russia are using over 100 technologies, developed by RMNTK "Nefteotdacha". By using oil recovery enhancement methods the country's recoverable reserves increased by 1.5 bln. tons without additional expenses in exploration works.
